BHS Mens Golf Goes Low to Remain Undefeated in Cap 8 Conference Play

The Caps had a strong showing today in Cap 8 Conference play at Heritage.  The team had a combined score of 143 today or one under par which was two shots better than second place Millbrook.  Millbrook posted their score first with BHS still on the course after a rain delay.  The team knew they could not afford to make a bogie to finish the round and the team responded. Seniors Will Minton, Stephen Saleeby and Harrison Rhoades all responded with birdies on the par 5 eighteenth hole followed by solid pars from Senior Sam Holden and Sophomore Jimbo Stanley.

Overall Harrison Rhoades and Stephen Saleeby led the team with scores of 34 and 35.  Other solid results were posted by Will Minton and Jimbo Stanley with a pair of 37's followed by a solid 38 from Sam Holden.   The highlight of the day was the last BHS swing of the day with Sam Holden puring an iron from 140 yards to 10 inches from the hole to save his par on the last hole.  This was a fitting end to the day for the Caps.
