The
Broughton girls’ lacrosse team won easily over the less experienced Rolesville
Rams Tuesday night at home. The Caps
scored 11 times in the first ten minutes, and led 12-0 when the Rams scored
their only goal at 7:27 in the first half.
The Caps lead at the half was 15-1.
The Caps offense then slowed in the second half, to end with a 21-1 win.
Fourteen
players scored for Broughton: Farrell Guest (four goals), Hattie Warner,
Margaret Ann Warner, Carol Seigler, EJ Fuller, Sydney Russell, Georgia Davis,
Katie Childrey, Branch Henderson, Lilie Moore, Lawson Strickland, Greer Eckard,
Britt Warner and Sarah Goodwin Brook.

Yoder’s Caps now stand at 7-1 entering Spring Break. Play continues on Monday April 4 at 6:30 pm
at 2015 state champion Apex.
